My Tze Shu puppy was coughing since last few day when it was sleeping?

My Tze Shu puppy is around 1 year old. It suddenly cough when it was sleeping and keep coughing non stop since last few day. At the same time it also seems like want to vomit but it cant. I am very worried about it. It seems like very serious, could anyone of you can answer me about this ? Will it get recover soon by letting it rest inside the cage ?
