As a 68W, do you work weekends and holidays while STATESIDE?

Once you sign that contract, you will do whatever Uncle Sam tells you to do, which might include working weekends, holidays, your birthday ect. This becomes more apparent when you are about to deploy, as your mission is to get out and go down range. Some days you might get sent to your barracks room, other days you might work 24 hours (staff duty, CQ), and times where you will away for weeks at a time. Just get yourself mentally prepared
