Big problem!?

okay, so i'm friends with this girl, and her bday is on valentine's day. but she said she wasn't having a party so i decided not to get her a gift (she didn't get me one either), but then i heard she is have a party, and i talked to her and she said that hse could only invite 10 people, and that we should just get together another time. but i feel really bummed because one she lied to me and two i thought we were really good friends, and like i mean she made my top 5 bffs. how should i handle this and react to her and everything? i mean i do have 2 cles with her (and people that she doesn't even have cles with or anything got invited. i got invited last year...so yeah. i'm really sad)
