I need More Power?

I drive a 2002 dodge neon and i resently just changed the spark plugs and wiring in my car and my car runs great! I was looking to add more horsepower and i have a few optoins. What would be better for my car and a mean sound, an AEM CAI, or a K&N CAI. and do performance chips really work?
