LSD and Shrooms, electric/earthy?

When people say acid is electric what I think they mean is that it tends to put a colorful neon-like border around anything your looking at while shrooms don't do that so much. Both will show you crazy patterns and stuff but shrooms feel more like a very colorful funhouse, while acid makes these insanely elaborate patterns pop out of whatever your looking at.
