Do the Yankees have a legit number 1 catcher or do they need to deal for one?

I know it may be a huge loss with Jorge Posada having his sholder problem and the team is in need. Have the Yankees had any talks with the Twins for Mike Redman? He would be starting on many other teams but with Joe Mauer it isn't likely to happen. I am sure the Twins might need a few good prospects the Yankees may want to hang on to.
