Canon DSLR Lenses help?

First of all i'm not a professional Photographer or what. I just want to take pictures as a hobby. I'm planning to get a Canon 1100D but what is the best lens should I use? I want to use a canon lens but which one? I don't get the whole standard zoom, telephoto zoom, wide angle thingy. With the DSLR, i want to take pictures of myself, places I go, food, cool things i see and all those stuffs. I'm only 14. So which is the best lens? Price is not a problem.
