Bumper guide light wiring?

I got a set of bumper guide lights from a friend of mine. Only problem is, I dont know how to wire them. Well, I have a general idea, but what i reall need to know is: If im splicing into my headlamp switch to wire these, do i need to put an inline fuse in? if so, what amperage? how would I find this out?
