1989 Ford Taurus Transmission.?

i have a 95 taurus...same thing 3.0L vulcan(good engine by the way) and i had the same problem...i took it to my buddy and he changed out my fluids and filter. this helped out ALOT...daddy drove this car before me and it has 220k on it and the transmission is fine for how old it is...it doesn't make sense that yours is acting like this...does it have a warranty? if it does go get it checked. best of luck-austin
